We have more than 30 degree programs, a low faculty/student ratio, and national accreditation. We offer opportunities for research, education abroad, performances and exhibitions. UK CFA encourages individual expression. It offers personal connections with peers and faculty. It fosters your skills and arms you with the tools to make your mark as a creative leader.

With 1,000 students on a campus of 30,000, we’re the best of both worlds: the resources of a large university with the intimacy of a small college. We have a low faculty/student ratio, making mentorships a pivotal part of the learning experience. Here, your faculty are committed to helping you reach your potential.

At the University of Kentucky College of Fine Arts, you will dive into the exploration of creativity, problem solving, theory, analysis, and discovery.

Scholarships & Financial Aid

Scholarships and financial aid are available to College of Fine Arts students, both through the College and from the University of Kentucky. Visit your preferred major home for specific information.

Incoming students to the College of Fine Arts may also be eligible for additional academic scholarships, including awards for alumni of Kentucky Governor's School for the Arts or Governor's Scholars programs. More details on these and other scholarship opportunities are available on the University of Kentucky Scholarships website. Information regarding need-based assistance, FAFSA deadlines, and a cost calculator can be found through the University of Kentucky Financial Aid Office.

Creative Arts Scholarship: In 2021, a UK alumni couple made charitable gifts in the spirit of inclusion in education, and to help support students in the College's Creative Arts Living Learning Program. The scholarship helps undergraduate students get inspired, build friendships and explore collaboration in a residential campus community housed in Holmes Hall. Over 250 students live, study and make art in specially designed studios, classrooms and performance spaces.
